Brie: Today I’m interviewing my good friend Kotori Mori. She’s passionate, exceptional at fire magic, a follower of the Tauna goddess, and best of all she never fails to bring your spirits up! Also both of us are looking for jobs please reach out if you’re interested…
Kotori: I saw your self-interview in the last newsletter and you totally short-changed yourself! You didn’t talk about how good you are at magical stuff or helping magical girls find their spark!
Brie: I mean, am I really good at that?
Kotori: Duh! You certainly helped me find my center.
Brie: Really? For as long as I’ve known you you’ve been pretty certain you want to be a magical girl and be just like your magical boy father.
Kotori: Well yeah, but growing up I thought being a magical girl was about getting strong and punching people, my Dad was spending most of his time in Ruby City back then so he couldn’t train me as much as he’d like.
Brie: You might want to tell the audience what made Ruby City so important.
Kotori: Oh yeah, my Dad was the only magical person in our town, so he would travel to Ruby to learn from their guilds. It was also the only easy way to get to other districts. Since Gumbrook was such a small town, we had only one train, and it went to Ruby City. You could go pretty much anywhere from there though.
Brie: Yeah, I remember that…
Kotori: But anyway, no matter how much I trained, my heart just wasn’t into it. You were always so kind to me, even the first time we met you showed me that the true joy of life is helping others. You were how I found my passion.
Brie: The first time we met? All I did was give you cheese because you dropped your lunch.
Kotori: *sniff* You’re amazing Brie.
Brie: It literally takes no eff- are you crying!?!?
